Fashion/life style content creator, Jay Louise shares her entire life online.

Hi! We're so glad you could take this interview and we're so excited to be able to learn all things YOU! Let's start from the beginning! When did you fall for fashion?

I first started to really focus on fashion at the start of 2020 and I think that’s when I fell in love with creating looks.

Would you wear the very first outfit you put together now?

No! Never! but you live and you learn!

What is the best part of creating your look?

Experimenting! I love trying new styles and finding what’s right for me.

Do you like a theme when it comes to putting together a look?

I love being more casual and comfortable, street wear style is definitely my go to.

What is the most consistent advice you have to give when trying a new look?

Don’t follow trends! Always go with what you’re confident in always!

Are there any challenges to coming up with THE vision you know is just perfect for yourself but might not be ready to take the leap?

As I said previously, don't follow trends to fit in, I think it's super important to be true to yourself when finding YOUR style that way you’re confident in your looks.

How important is branding when it comes to style?

I think branding is very important as it allows you to set the tone for what people can expect from you.

Is there a style that is a NO GO every time?

Honestly no, I love trying new styles.

What is a trend that is always a YES?!

Street wear vibes are always a yes from me! I just feel so confident in those kinds of outfits.

How do you set yourself apart to keep your uniqueness?

I'm always true to myself and my style. I never try to fit in, I just enjoy wearing outfits that make me confident and happy! Over the last 2 years I’ve definitely learnt a lot

Where does your confidence come from?

It's taken a lot of building but I think finding your style, one that matches your personality helps so much!

What is the most daring decision you have made so far in your career?

I think the most daring decision I’ve made is to just go for it, I tend to hold myself back a lot and now I just do whatever makes me happy!

What is the most daring style you've done?

Bright clothing and glam looks! I’m usually very minimalistic and neutral! So that always feels a little strange.

Is there anything in your closet you're updating right now that you would like to pass on to others?

I’ve actually just done a huge wardrobe clear out, I tend to do it with seasons changing. I bring in my spring/summer clothes and change them out for my autumn/winter clothes. I do actually have quite a lot ready for charity and some that I will be putting on vinted too!

How can people follow your fashion journey?

You can find a lot of my looks over on my instagram @jaylouisedyer, I have some fashion hauls over on my YouTube too - jaylouisedyer and I have finally started posting onto tiktok my username for that is jaylouisedyer

Any upcoming projects you want to share before you go!?

I think 2022 is my biggest project in general. There is a lot coming this year!

Last but not least, leave us with your best style advice you've received EVER.

I think the best style advice is to just be YOU, dress for yourself, to make yourself happy no one else.
